U9 Timbits Development and Recreational Program

10 Week Program

May 26, 2025 to July 28, 2025 

Time: 5:00pm - 6:15pm

For players born in 2016 and 2017

Cost: $70

•  Weekly sessions (1 hour and 15 minutes) that will focus on continuing to develop the player's agility, balance, coordination, speed, and fundamental soccer skills, while learning the basic principles of play and the rules of the sport.

• Each Session= 45 minutes of drills and activities to develop fundamental soccer skills (stations) followed by a 30 minute House League game (co-ed).

• Players will also compete in monthly jamborees and will require travel to Antigonish, New Glasgow and Truro.

• Depending on the number of players that register for this division, the "Jamboree" team(s) may be co-ed.

• All games played in this division will not keep score. This decision was made as a part of Canada’s Long Term Player Development (LTPD) plan, which focuses on skill development and having fun, while diminishing the focus on winning.

• Each player will receive a Timbits soccer uniform (jersey/socks), and a participation medal. Thanks to our local Tim Hortons owners, who sponsor this program.
